Very soon, we’ll all be gathering in one place once again for Senetic’s annual team-building retreat. This year, we’re heading to the beautiful Beskid Mountains, where we’ll spend a weekend together at the Magnus Hotel filled with conversations, get-togethers, fun, and opportunities to get to know each other better outside of our daily work.

On a day-to-day basis, we work in a hybrid or fully remote model. Our teams collaborate from different cities—and often from different countries as well. While modern tools allow us to work efficiently from a distance, nothing can replace the opportunity to meet in person, have a relaxed conversation around a table, or spend time together away from computer screens. This is especially important for our international employees, who have the opportunity during the team-building event to come to Poland and meet their teams, with whom they collaborate remotely for most of the year. Thanks to this, people who have so far been known mainly through Teams or joint projects can also get to know each other on a completely personal and less formal level.

This year’s program will be diverse. We’ll have team meetings, group team-building games, and activities that will let us try our hand at roles a little different from the ones we play every day. There will also be plenty of time for conversations, relaxation, and having fun together.

One of the highlights of the trip will be this year’s gala, themed after *The Great Gatsby*. ✨ It will be an opportunity to briefly step back into the atmosphere of the 1920s, but above all, to celebrate another year together.

Because for us, team-building isn’t just about having fun.

It’s also a chance to pause after a few intense months, look back at what we’ve accomplished together, and celebrate it as a team. In the daily grind, it’s easy to jump from one project to the next, from one goal to the next. A trip like this gives us a chance to take a step back and remember that behind the results, projects, customer service, and company growth are, above all, people. So we want to use this time not only for team-building but also to celebrate together what we’ve accomplished as a team.

And how was it a year ago?

We spent our previous team-building retreat in Szczyrk. We kicked it off with the question: “Hello, hello! Is there a Saboteur on our team?” 😏
There was no shortage of excitement and competition during the “Saboteur” game, where we could test our strategic, detective, and—at times—even culinary skills. There were late-night conversations, lots of laughter, and, of course, dancing—after which more than a few smartwatches boasted record-breaking step counts.

Above all, however, it was time spent together with the people we work with on a daily basis—hybrid, remotely, and internationally.

So before we create new memories in the Beskids, let’s take a moment to look back at last year’s team-building event.

📸 Below are a few photos from Szczyrk.

And soon, another weekend together, new stories, and—we hope—even more reasons to celebrate.
